What should I know about the golf season in Thailand?

Thailand has a tropical climate, so the best time to play golf is generally from November to February when the weather is cooler and drier. This is peak tourist season, so booking tee times in advance is recommended. From March to May, temperatures can soar, which might not be ideal if you're sensitive to heat. However, this is also when you might find fewer crowds and better deals on green fees. During the rainy season from June to October, some courses may have temporary closures, but the rain usually comes in short bursts, allowing for plenty of playable hours. Just be prepared for the occasional downpour and check local forecasts before heading out.
